I went to see this today and it pushed my conceptions forward a great deal.
A part of this installation was projected on flexi-glass, or just glass hanging off of the ceiling in layers. There were opaque circles drawn in a spiral on each piece. Within the opaque parts, the projection was more solid, but the surrounding glass gave it an ethereal feeling with its reflective quality.
Another part of the installation was projected on a canvas made of plaster which also existed as a 3D sculpture. The digital projections were physically synched with the surfaces and provided them with an interesting and lively quality and amorphous texture.

This brought me back to thinking, what if these projections were stereo?
Combining with non-stereo projections, this could give another dimension to such space.

Some random brainstorming:
A table with little canvases on it.
mirrors under the canvases
something moving through the multiple canvases
what is my point?
breaking physical space with the digital, confusing people's perceptions, it's not what it seems,
why do i want people to feel this?
texture of digital light onto/into reality
i want people to become confused
why
i want people to question their reality
why
makes life more interesting!
----
not just a flat canvas
